Help with FLV's and file size.

Hi,

I am working on a project for a client who would like to run two FLV's in the project.?To get the quality (and fill the screen) the file sizes are around 69,000 KB each.?The project is to be published in an exe file which is huge.?When you click on it to start, the start time is around 90 seconds.?Can any of you give me some suggestions on getting the file size down and/or getting the exe to fire up faster??The audio is set at FM level and the graphics set to about 40%.

Help! and many thanks in advance for your help!

Gary

Help with FLV's and file size.

Those video files sure are huge.

The only solution is to recode the videos to lower quality. Now I don't know how long your video files are, but 69.000 kb is just way to much. As an example we have a 5 minute FLV in a course that runs for 5 minutes and is 6mb in size. The video is 900px * 560px.

Try recoding the videos with the On2Vp6 codec and around 400 bit / second. You should be able to get a decent quality.
