Hi All
I want to record narrative over my vids but have been told that the sound input would be too low on my laptop input (mono jack plug) and that I would need a pre amp to up the volume.
Does anyone know the legitimate-ness of that claim or does anyone have any suggestions on how to set it up and what hardware/software may be needed.....

Whats the best setup for a mic...I've done it.?Works fine.
