Acrobat still crashes on JPXDecode

Hello,

sorry that i have to reopen this discussion again, but problems in JPXDecode are still unresolved.

I use OpenJPEG2000 encoder and generated PDF crashes Acrobat in latest/various versions (see screenshot).

I'm sure that the problem is the JPEG2000 stream. Replacing it with an Acrobat generated JPX stream is working fine (valid PDF).

In my first posts i generated an RGBA image with alpha channel inside the stream. Acrobat crashed immediatly.

Now i write the alpha channel via /SMask. Acrobat 9 open and displaying the image. But if i close the app or move the image with touchup Acrobat crashes again.

Leonard, please see attached PDF: if moving around the image with touchup or closing crashes your Acrobat..

Btw: Is the decoder crash a kind of security vulnerability?

Any suggestion/help welcome

thanks

Dirk
