sorry that i have to reopen this discussion again, but problems in JPXDecode are still unresolved.
I use OpenJPEG2000 encoder and generated PDF crashes Acrobat in latest/various versions (see screenshot).
I'm sure that the problem is the JPEG2000 stream. Replacing it with an Acrobat generated JPX stream is working fine (valid PDF).
In my first posts i generated an RGBA image with alpha channel inside the stream. Acrobat crashed immediatly.
Now i write the alpha channel via /SMask. Acrobat 9 open and displaying the image. But if i close the app or move the image with touchup Acrobat crashes again.
Leonard, please see attached PDF: if moving around the image with touchup or closing crashes your Acrobat..
Btw: Is the decoder crash a kind of security vulnerability?
