Browser Preview Problem

I just got CS4 for the Mac (Snow Leopard). Whenever I try to preview a page in my site it opens two browsers. The second browser has the page I want to see, but the first is just my home page. This happens on both Firefox and Safari. How can I get this to only open one browser instead of two of the same?

Browser Preview Problem

Hi

Check your browser options, especially the one that tells the browser what to display on start, (it may be set to reopen the home page and any other pages).

I checked and it is how I have always had it. The browser is supposed to open the home page when opened. This has never been a problem before. It only started when I began using a Mac.

This does it to both FireFox and Safari, and the only thing I have told them is to open on my homepage, which is default. I merely changed the address of where it opens.

Thanks,

Cy

Hi

Does this happen when pressing f12,?when selecting 'preview in browser', or both?

PZ

No matter what method I use. If I ask Dreamweaver to preview it opend two browsers.

Hi

Just a thought, have you installed two versions of these browsers?

The reason I ask is that I did have this problem a while ago, until I noticed I had installed a complete version and not an update to the browser.
